Title: The God of the Abundance

Message:

In Ezekiel 47:1-12 Ezekiel is brought to the door of the house of God, from under the threshhold comes a river. They say that the temple was built upon a rock some bible scholars reckon this was the rock mentioned in the Exodus from which Moses received water after hitting it with is staff. We know this rock was Christ according to 1 Corinthians 10:1:4 and did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ. If this is the case then we see that this river flows from this rock, and this Rock was broken for us, so from brokenness comes anointing. I believe in order for us to receive the anointing of God our will has to be broken. I notice that when we are broken before God that the anointing comes, it is like the woman with the alabaster box she had to break it in order for Jesus to be anointed.

The angel went forward 1500 feet he measured and the water came to the ankles, this speaks of the walking in the Spirit Galatians 5:16  This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. Galatians 5:25  If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. He measures again another 1500 feet this time it comes to the knees, speaks of prayer life, a life of praying in the Spirit. Ephesians 6:18  Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;1 Corinthians 14:15  What is it then? I will pray with the spirit, and I will pray with the understanding also: I will sing with the spirit, and I will sing with the understanding also.Jude 1:20  But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost, There is nothing like being lead by the Spirit in prayer, sometimes we come to the Lord with a shopping list, but if we allow the Holy Spirit to pray through us the affect will be amazing.Romans 8:26  Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. He measures another 1500 feet and it was to his waist, waist speaks of strength, that we are strengthened by the Spirit, but also in the Spiritual armour, we have the belt of truth which goes around the waist so we are in the Spirit and in His truth. John says in John 4: 23-24  But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.Prayer is part of worship and Ezekiel has found this place in God that not only does he want to worship God he wants to worship Him in Spirit and truth. He measures another 1500 feet it became a river he could not cross, waters to swim in and here we see his dependance in God, up until now his feet were on the bottom, but now he was in deep and able to swim in those waters. I cannot swim but I know about depending on the Lord, a verse that has always meant something to me is found in Luke 5:4  Now when he had left speaking, he said unto Simon, Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught. I believe the Lord wants us to launch out in Him and be dependant on Him. This is the abundance of God, when this happened with Ezekiel he saw the fruitfulness of God and the abundance of fish that were caught, he saw how the waters healed all that it touched. When we launch out into the deep we see the abundance of God we see the healing and the saving of the lost, what an amazing thing this is but it has taught me the importance of being in the Spirit and in the truth.
